For nearly four years after its opening, visitors to the Proof bar imbibed under the watchful eye of some of Louisville's most notable and interesting personalities...or, at least, paintings of them. Now you can have your own custom portrait by Shayne Hull, the artist behind Proof's well-known "100 Portraits" series. Paintings are colorful and accurate with a guaranteed spot-on likeness of the subject. Works are oil on museum panel, mounted on a 1" x 2.5" pine support. Here's how it works: If you're nearby, schedule a photo shoot at Shayne's studio. If not, just send a photo for him to work from. Portraits take three to four months to complete once a photograph has been agreed upon by you and the artist.
